2010 Kansas City Royals

The KC Royals are participating in their 42nd season in Major League Baseball. The franchise will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of their winning the 1985 World Series.

This season, the team, which sports a mere $70 million payroll (21st in the Majors), will have to rely on the pitching of Zack Greinke.

There are many mistakes from last season that must be addressed. The Royals, for instance, gave up 77 unearned runs, the most in the AL and they were dead last in the Majors in sacrifice flies. Also, Royals pitchers walked more batters than any team in the AL and the pitching staff threw 89 wild pitches...tops in AL baseball last season.
